Berk's Dragon Academy is an independent, fan-made project recreating the How to Train Your Dragon world as a Minecraft Java Edition mod and map.
The project
BDA develops dragons, taming, riding, progression, Viking systems, Berk, and the wider archipelago with canon accuracy as the central standard. It was established on 10 March 2022 and rebuilt around a new foundation in March 2026.
Fan status
BDA is unofficial and non-commercial. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by DreamWorks, Universal, Mojang, Microsoft, or any other HTTYD Minecraft project. Their names, characters, worlds, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
